We will not quote your house sight unseen. But you should not have to book an appointment to find out whether we are in your range — so here is where we start.
Those are floors, not quotes. They are the point below which we cannot do the preparation the work requires and still put our name and a five-year warranty on it. Most projects land above them, and the only way to know yours is to have someone walk it — which is free.
The floors apply to whole interior projects, whole exterior projects, and complete kitchen refinishes. Single rooms, single elevations, a handful of doors, touch-ups, warranty callbacks and small work for existing clients are quoted case by case and are not held to them. Color consulting on its own sits outside them entirely. Decorative, hand-brushed and specialty coating work is quoted on its own terms and starts higher.
Square footage is the figure everyone reaches for and the least reliable predictor of what a job costs. Paint is sold by the gallon; painting is sold by the hour — and the hours live almost entirely in preparation. Two identical houses on the same street can differ by thousands.

Not "paint the exterior." Every surface included, the preparation each one gets, the exact products, and the number of coats — so you can lay it beside another bid and compare like for like.
Not a range that firms up later. Where something genuinely cannot be known until a surface is opened, we say so in writing before you sign rather than after.
